Serengeti is a Neutral, I'm Sure of It.
I'm very sure this is a neutral color. Either that or I've gone off the deep end and am considering it so in my off-kilter universe. These are my patent leather Serengeti Juliet pumps from J.Crew, of course. & I wear them with everything from white dresses to eyelet skirts, to anything with a solid color. First, comfy as all heck. Second, I never fail to get a compliment out of these. Hawaii women love these shoes!

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, they are a neutral! I have the very same pair and the women of Cape Cod love them too, as I aways get compliments. I do wear them sparingly because I don't want them to wear out.:)

Kathy, I try to wear them sparingly too, but since most of my things are still in transit from Japan, they are one of the only pairs I have here that are comfy enough to wear to work. Oh well, guess that means I have reason to shoe shop!
i totally get it. of course, i think black and white polka dots are also a neutral.

ReplyDeleteI bought a pair of Ebay a few months ago and they are now one of my favorite pairs of shoes for sure. I really hope J Crew brings them back into production because I missed the boat when they first came out and would love to have more pairs in fun colors. :)
I have a pair of Juliets in the pale almond color and have worn them out. I'm also on the eBay hunt for more. They really see great shoes!!

That's probably a little strange since I originally found this blog while searching for more j crew and anthro reads. (I've read your posts back to Jan '09.
